Vinod's Epic Backcountry Pike Adventure Around Irving Waters!
Non-stop bites all day long! Took Vinod out for some late afternoon backcountry fishing around Irving this summer. Started our trip right around evening time with partly cloudy skies and some morning rain that had cleared up nicely. Water conditions were looking good for what we had planned.
Once the stage was set, we worked through fly fishing, spinner casting, and bait fishing to target the Northern Pike in these Irving waters. The backcountry spots around here are perfect for mixing up techniques like that - gives you plenty of options when the fish are being picky. Vinod and I had ourselves a real good time working different presentations until we found what they wanted. Y'all know how it is - sometimes you gotta switch it up to git-r-done, and that's exactly what happened out there.
